Hope we are all having a happy friday so far, here in the UK, we are all preparing for a super long bank holiday till Wednesday as on Tuesday we celebrate our Queen's Jublilee...60 yrs on the throne and still going strong :-) Long may she reign over us...Im proud to be British.

Boxed In a Bit

So while i was wandering around Glitterati, this beautiful item caught my eye also so i bought it and i have to say you get 2 within the pack that you buy, the one i am using to let you see what is included is the Lit Cube

So I would be right that im thankful i dont suffer from claustrophobia hehe as it was it seems created for a not so tall person like me :-) Below is how both versions look.

This version is called GLITTERATI - Cubed [lit] - rez this out.

Then, you need to open your PREFERENCES and go to the GRAPHICS options.

Turn on LOCAL LIGHTS by putting a check in the box, and then make sure SHADOWS are set to SUN, MOON AND PROJECTORS. The projectors is the important part!

Then, use a nice dark windlight (otherwise you might be a bit too bright) and play with the different ones to find your perfect lighting.

Shadows can sometimes be a little tricky, so if you are having problems with them, try visiting these links...

Within this set there is 5 animations, this is a brand new set from the lovely Katey Coppola, and i am a great admirer of Glitterati, and in the 5 yrs, i love buying all that she creates.


Glitterati is of course one of the best and one of the originals, and i will be going through eventually many of the props and pose companies of course.

So Darn Hot

And no i dont mean just myself haha, i mean the weather in the UK, its been stifling all week past which is ever so nice and ever so much better than constant rain, but shhh i actually prefer the rain and the wind to the sun....but then i have my reasons haha....and so apologies for not getting back so quick just been either not well or just wandering the grid to see what i can find and what is new out there.


Also i live on an Island have done for almost a yr i think now and had only rented half of it, only noticed yesterday that the other part was up for rent and well im greedy i guess but rented out the other half also lol so a whole Island to myself again, as i used to own an island but now can only afford rent :)  Still have my little skybox which constantly changes themes too so will keep that also.  But yes i got the owner that i rent from to take down 2 of the homes that were up one on the side i stayed on which was taking so much prim space anyways, and also one of the others on the other side as well.  So there is a Tiki home on the side i had originally plus i kept it there due to the rent box being in that area hehe so much easier and also and i will def need to show you the house i asked to be kept up on the other side i thought Wow when i saw it for the 1st time..Will for sure get a blog up and show you my wonderful new house, now i can concentrate decorating the island more :)  over 3000 prims woo what can one do haha.


Anyway i thought i would show you a couple new things, i bought a lot of things in the past few days i wish to show but im having a relaxing moment in the sea to cool down :)

The Circus Has come to Town

decided to take a trip to see a fashion shoot while i was able to, something different to do for once and i thought i would check one out as it had been a while since i found the time to go to one

This was a lovely hour of beach wear on offer, and even though i never got enough photos i thought i would share a little of what i got :)

Culture Shock 2012

Its good to see the Culture Fair back :-)...I was here last yr and god knows i remember buying a few things back then, so i was looking forward to shopping once more.

Its beautifully laid out as always and its nice to just tinker back and forward in all the shops and see what is on offer...for the moment ill be camming and checking things out as the script counter seems to not like me*haha*

Anyway its a good thing to see back and as usual its sponsoring something very important and raising money in the process.

A bit about Culture Shock (if you didn't know): Culture Shock is one of the biggest fashion events in SL, hosted by CHIC Management, showcasing designs reflecting our own personal cultures and the Second Life culture. It aims to raise proceeds for Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders, a RL medical aid organization.

Been many gliches while i was going through the fair, and my money kept going to -1 a lot so a lot of logging in and out to fix things, but we will get there :)

Well i cant seem to get there anymore which is sad.
